I bought this foreign webcam, and the computer read it, but when im equipped to use it, the blind is black?

The fact that the computer recognize the webcam indicates that the driver is installed properly and working .

The screen person black indicates a possible software problem. The software for the device is not properly installed or is corrupt. Uninstall the software and re-install again.
Is there by any adjectives 10 layers of electrical cartridge around the camera lens.
try turning the part where on earth the lens is and it might focus it better.
Did you install the software,(drivers), first from the CD disk? Most of the time Windows 'sees',(reads), the trellis cam , and will try to install a generic driver for it, when you plug the 'cam' into a USB port.( USB stands for Universal Serial Port, and WindowsXP Home/Professional are plug n' play OSes.)Since the generic driver is already installed it won't use your software for the web cam, or they'll be a 'conflict' between the driver's. How in the order of unpluggin' the cam, deleting the software, turn the computer bad, then re-start,(you can only restart the computer, but sometimes it'll hang up), and re-install the software, THEN plug you network cam into the nearest USB port, and see if it's recognized.
