I hold a microphone and i plug it into the jack and it still doesnt work..can some1 relieve me?

I own a headseat w/ a microphone and it has two different plugs..one for the headset and one for the mic.

when i plug the mic int the mic slot it still doesnt work



does anyone have a cly why? can u backing me?

Try going into Control Panel and clicking on the Sounds icon. Click the Advanced button lower than device volume. A panel of sound controls will unambiguous, goto Options, Properties. Check Microphone under Show the following volume controls. Go subsidise to the panel and go to Options, Advanced Controls. Now final on the panel, uncheck mute on the microphone, and hit advanced, check Mic Boost, and hit ok. Then turn the mic up and talk into it. If it works, biddable, recheck mute and exit. If it doesn't work, the microphone is broken.
