I own a dvd burner but i can't burn cds any more please Help me?

I hold dvd burner and i burned the first cd but after that I started to have problems and I couldn't burn any more but it still read cds and dvds

i had a problem similar to this but in my suitcase i cannot burn rewriteable cd.find out if you can burn dvds.if you can then it is from the cd rom.i will push for you to check your burnig software or uninstall it and re-install the burning software again.also make sure that your IDE cable and your power cable to the dvd burner drive is properly fixed.
