CD-Recorders can be have for as little as 20 dollars.
ahhh there cheap. Go to www.newegg.com and u can catch them for like 30 bucks. If you dont hold experience with the guts of a computer, hold a pro do it. also unless you constantly burn CD's it, depending on the brand, will last you a worthy 2 years.

i have found one for $4.00. but some are more or smaller number.
There is no sense staying with a compact disc recorder when you can upgrade to a Double Layer DVD+/-RW Drive with LightScribe for going on for $37.
I dont know where you live but surrounded by Malaysia it cost about RM100 to get hold of DVD burner with DVD-RAM support. Maybe it around USD 30.
