How to dispose of weak CD's undamagingly?
Safely as in, ensure that the notes on them is not seen by anyone, or without risk as environmentally conscious?
Run sandpaper on them until they are completed burred by the sandpaper.
Some junk yard have recycle centers for CD's and old computers and battery.
Recycling centres will do.
The compact disc is made of Polycarbon, and hence in lamens vocabulary: Plastic.
Best way to verbs the data is probably as the lad say: Sandpaper. I dont recomend a microwave.
Snap them and give them into plastic recycle.
melt them, put them into a cd shredder.
snap um up and recycle them.

Break them, cut them, cause them unreadable. CDs are NOT recyclable! They are made from a cracked aluminum layer within a plastic sandwich making them almost impossible to separate and even if you do probably need to consume more vitality than making a new one.
