I own Windows XP. I was delete unneccesary programs and somehow deleted my soundcard, or at most minuscule the driver for it. The only compact disc I have is my Windows system restore. I don't enjoy a backup hard-drive, so I can't do a system restore. Is there a channel to just re-install the driver for the nouns card?
I accidentally delete my soundcard. How can I get hold of it wager on on my computer short a full system restore?
you should just be capable of restart and windows will detect the soundcard again. alternatively look within your device manager and look for the soundcard. you should lately be able to reinstall the card straight away.
I did like thing once... budge to add/remove programs and just include it in again.
stir to the website for your make of computer and download it
take the sound card disk and reinstall. Or if you enjoy a motherboard sound card use the motherboard compact disc
and if you delete more of ur windows xp files of late put in the Windows compact disc and it will put all the notes back
Try installing the driver again by going to Control panel -> Add hardware. It'll ask for the device driver. Browse for it surrounded by Microsoft website. Not sure if this works, but I guess it should.
You can usually reinstall it by going to the Add/Remove Hardware wizard in the Control Panel. If it is a special aftermarket soundcard, you might enjoy to go to the manufacturer's website and download the driver from in attendance.
