How much memory make up a see?
How much memory make up a see?
Kilo thousands
Mega millions
Giga billions
Terra trillions
1024 megs
a thousand megabites
A see means a billion so it is 1024megs which is 1024 million bytes.
512MB = Half a Gig
1024MB = 1Gig
2048MB = 2Gig
So on and so forth...

I assume that you are one confused by the actual and computer interpretation of a Gig. Number wise, a Gig is a thousand Megs. So a see = 1,000,000,000 .
Computers do not work on a base 10 system, they work on a groundwork 16 system If you know binary numbering and work things out, you will find that 1k i.e. 1000 is never reached on a byte boundary. What is reach is 1024 bits and computer techs etc. define this as 1k (but it is not 1000, it is 1024). So the lay personality says that it is more than 1k, but the computer geek say that it is 1k.
Continue the logic up, until you meet the see mark. Layman say 1000 x 1000 = I million - I Meg. Computer guy says that 1024 x 1024 is a Meg and 1024 Megs is a Gig..
I guess what I am wise saying is that it depends on who you are talking to.
Hope that help.
