My hoary computer stopped working, but the hard drive be still fine. I wanted to receive my old files past its sell-by date my hard drive. I bought an external complex drive enclosure, took out the matured hard drive, put it surrounded by the enclosure, and attached it to my investigational computer. Everything worked fine, and the hard drive is showing up as an external USB device on my modern computer EXCEPT it wont let me access anything that be previously on the my documents folder of the old firm drive, saying I dont enjoy access (presumably because I havent logged in to the username I be using on my old computer, where on earth this hard drive be the primary hard drive that be being booted off). Is near any way to acquire around this, and access those files?
