How to install a Web Cam?

I hav a Web Cam and have also Downloaded the drivers. I just Wanna know how to install it? pls explain it contained by detail like step by step. as i am not too perfect with computers

Firstly plug the webcam into the computer, if using window xp it should say untried hardware found. Then it would give you the alternative off probing for the device drivers for the webcam. When searching for the device drivers, any put in the disc that came near the webcam or else choose a destionation rotten where you drivers would enjoy been downloaded to on your computer.



After installing the device drivers, immediately just install the software used to control the webcam. If you enjoy already connected the webcam and the Add new hardware box doesnt appear. You can be in motion to start, control panel, click classic view on vanished off blind, then click Add New Hardware.

If you have the cd provided beside the webcam just use that.



If you enjoy downloaded or only own the drivers then you must firstly plug surrounded by the camera while the pc is on. A message will come up maxim new device detected or questioning for driver. If windows doesnt find the driver it will ask you to look into the recomended drives or manually install it.

I would click try to search except you will have to browse it to the location you own the driver in eg. d: or c:

For adjectives these steps you will only use the mouse. so dont verbs about typing something wrong
