You can't connect them this track. There are switches you can buy that enable both computers to USE duplicate monitor, keyboard and mouse, but the computers are not connected surrounded by any way. That is, they don't share files or devices, don't use like RAM, and each uses its own CPU.

Well , very against the clock, you can go to walmart and receive a KVM switch( $24). They plug into the back of the 2 PC's and the 1 mouse, upright, and monitor plug into the KVM switch. They typically swap between devices with freshly a double tap of the 'scroll lock' switch... Other wise, you can shop online at heaps of the retailers...
If you want to share files then you involve a simple network, usually a router ( wireless or not ) and 2 ethernet cable
